What are dynamic numbers?

When a lead clicks though to your site from any advertisement, Dynamic Number Insertion (DNI) technology displays a number that's unique to the specific search engine, web page, keyword or other source.

If you're using them through a provider to track your visitor journeys, we can also seamlessly integrate with whichever provider you're using.

Integrating your dynamic numbers with ResponseiQ

To integrate with your DNI stup we need to find the dynamic number on your site. This is where the CSS selector comes in. You'll need to identify the CSS selector for the element(s) which displays the dynamic number.

For example, if the phone number is within a div like this: <div class="contact-number">123-456-7890</div>, your CSS selector would be `.contact-number`.

Our standard set up supports to have a single CSS selector, so all elements on your site which display the dynamic number need to be structured the same. This is typically the case, especially if you are using a well known DNI provider already. In this case the CSS selector you use for this provider is the same our support team needs to know.

If you have more specific needs or if you need to identify the elements displaying a phone number in a different way let the support team know. We do support bespoke DNI setups as well.

After you've identified the CSS selector all you need to do to get set up is send your request to support@responseiq.com.

We will build the technology into your dashboard and notify you when it's ready. Once live, you can turn the functionality off whenever you want by going to
Settings > Dynamic Number Integration.

The dynamic numbers will display themselves on the call reports under the 'Agent' column (numbers changed on screenshot for privacy reasons):
